New Glume Wheat, 13 years after

Since the identification of a new glume wheat type in northern Greece and Austria in 2000 and 2001, order this glume wheat type has been recognised in different parts of Europe and western Asia. This session aims to bring together all archaeobotanical evidence on this glume wheat and discuss its regional and temporal distribution as well as identification issues concerning both chaff and grain. We invite oral presentations and posters. The session will be followed by a laboratory session on specimens of the new glume wheat type.
